HISTORY OF BOLERO DANCING
The Bolero has the same Afro-Cuban roots as the Rumba and probably was developed in Cuba from Cuban or Spanish folk dances such as Danzon and Befuine. It has continued to go through a development and now has a distictive rise and fall that was absent in the begging.
BOLERO DANCE STEPS
If Rumba is the courtship dance then Bolero is the dance of mature love and devotion. With its elegant rise and fall and classy long sweeping movements give thes dance a mature passionate look. BOLERO MUSIC
Bolero music is simalar to Rumba with an accent on the first beat and a slow quick quick rhythm. Bolero is slower than rumba and somtimes as a softer sound.
