Bob Powers & Julia Gorchakova are former 12 Time US Rhythm Champions and 3 Time World Mambo Champions.  Bob has been with the Arthur Murray Organization since 1978 as an instructor, supervisor, manager and now as a co-franchisee.

Irina Simakova Manager

Irina Simakova has been with the Arthur Murray organization for a number years and achieved national recognition as one of the top instructors.  She has been developing her managerial skills over the last couple of years and has returned to the company as the new manager of the Mesa studio.  Irina has strong sense of organization and wants to take the studio to the next level.

Lowell Fox Instructor

Lowell has been dancing since he was a child, and now enjoys helping other people learn to feel the joy he has felt all his life.
Lowell has been part of the Arthur Murray family in Syracuse, NY, Scottsdale & Phoenix, AZ and now enjoys passing his knowledge on to students at the Mesa studio.

Donovan & Carolyn Dominguez Instructor

Donovan and Carolyn Dominguez are top ranked professional
dance competitors and instructors.  Donovan
has been ranked in the top 20 instructors in Arthur
Murray worldwide and has achieved first place for the last four years in
the Instructor competition for the All Star Tournament and Tournament of
Champions. 

Donovan and Carolyn are an exciting and powerful couple to
watch.  Together they have moved quickly up the ranks in each style. 
In both Smooth and Rhythm they first won the Future Champion division, followed
by the Rising Star division, and now
consistently place at the top in the highest level, the Open division.  One of their favorite dances is the Mambo
which they won 3^rd place at the 2009 and 2010 National Championships
in Florida, and 5^th at the world Mambo championships held in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  They achieved the 2009
Arthur Murray World Nine Dance Champions and
currently rank 2^nd in United States in Nine Dance. Most
recently Donovan and Carolyn attained one of the most prestigious awards as the
Ohio Star Ball Rising Star Rhythm Champions.

Adelya Terranova Instructor

Adelya, originally from Russia has been awarded many accolades in Classical and Culture-specific Dance Styles such as Irish dancing “River Dance” and Greek Dancing in Orenburg. Also, experienced in Modern, Ballet and Folk. Adelya is highly motivated, enthusiastic, and will fill your heart with laughter on the dance floor.

Brian Lavelle Specialist

Brian comes to us
from SUNNY California, where he extensively trained in Jazz, ballet, Tap,
Musical Theatre, and Ballroom!  After Graduating from the college
“Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts” in Santa Maria, Ca. He
moved to SUNNY Arizona to Pursue his passion for Ballroom dancing.  

There is no other joy for Brian than sharing his knowledge and passion of
dance, and seeing how it enriches the lives of others as it has his own life.

Mandi Lopez Teacher

Mandi began with Arthur
Murray Dance Studios in2006, and in 2009 became one of the top counselors in
the area.  In 2008, was named 
Phoenix’s top female instructor of the year. 
Mandi has placed among the top Instructors at many regional award
ceremonies. She has also competed ProAm at many competitions.    She has a passion for dance, and for
teaching.   Mandi loves helping her
students grow into the dancers they have always dreamt of being.
